It helps you understand adoption, usage patterns, and the value of the AI Assistant without exposing sensitive conversation data. ## Accessing the AI Assistant Tab To access this tab, go to **Insights** > **Admin Dashboard** and select **AI Assistant**. This page will only display data if your AI Assistant is enabled. To enable to AI Assistant, see [AI Assistant: Setup and Administration](/v1/docs/ai-assistant-setup-and-administration). ## Filters Use the filters at the top of the tab to focus on the learners you want to review. | Filter | Description | | --- | --- | | **Date** | Filter to a specific time period. Choose **Rolling** for a relative date range (such as **Last 12 Weeks**), or **Fixed** for a specific date range. Select **Include this week** to include the current week in a rolling range. | | **Thrive Status** | Filter learners by their Thrive account status. The default view includes **active** and **new** learners. | | **Structure and Audience** | Focus the report on learners within selected structures and audiences. | | **Position Title** | Review AI Assistant usage for learners with particular position titles. | | **User Attribute Key** | Select the custom user attribute you want to filter by, such as **Region** or **Department**. This determines which values are available in **User Attribute Value**. | | **User Attribute Value** | Select one or more values of the attribute chosen in **User Attribute Key** to narrow the report – for example, **North East** if the key is set to **Region**. | | **View by** | Changes how the usage comparison chart groups your data, such as by **Audience**, **Position title**, or **Structure and audience**. Use this to change the attribute being compared, rather than to filter which learners are included. | Once you've set your filters, you can optionally click **Save view** at the top of the filter panel to save this combination for next time. ## Dashboard Sections ### Is the AI Assistant Being Used? This section shows adoption metrics including the percentage and number of learners using the AI Assistant, session counts, message volumes, and usage patterns over time. You can see which days have the highest engagement and how conversation length varies across sessions. ### What is the AI Assistant Being Used For? This section categorises messages by intent (work questions, platform content, translations, summaries, etc.) and shows the percentage of times relevant content was successfully surfaced. You can also see whether responses came from platform content, web search, or other sources. ### How Quickly Does the AI Assistant Respond to Learners? This section displays average response times overall and broken down by message intent and source. These metrics help you monitor AI Assistant performance at scale. ## Important Notes - All data displayed is anonymised – no chat transcripts or user-level data is exposed. - Only super admins can access this dashboard. - The AI Assistant may be referred to by a custom name in your organisation, but this dashboard always refers to it as "AI Assistant".
