Below are two key options you can enable, depending on your tracking needs. ## **Prevent Resuming Attempts** This option allows you to force a new attempt each time a learner launches the eLearning module, rather than allowing them to resume where they left off. By default, most learning platforms store **suspend data** once a module is completed. If a learner relaunches the module, it typically opens in *Review Mode*, meaning no new tracking occurs. Enabling **Prevent Resuming Attempts** overrides this behaviour. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > When this option is enabled, learners will not be able to resume progress mid-way. They must complete the content in a single session. ## **Log Changes to Lesson Status** This option is designed as a workaround for eLearning modules that do not reliably record completions using standard tracking methods. When enabled, the platform will send an xAPI statement as soon as the lesson status is set, rather than waiting for `LMSCommit` or `LMSFinish` calls. > [!WARNING] > Important: > > - This method is not SCORM-compliant. > - Many SCORM packages set lesson status multiple times in quick succession. To handle this, the platform deduplicates calls, but incorrect status settings could result in inaccurate tracking. This option should only be used when other tracking methods, such as the default configuration or Prevent Resuming Attempts, have failed to work reliably. Any learning material in Thrive, including courses, quizzes, videos, documents, external links, and user-generated resources. Content serves to educate, engage, and assess learners, supporting a wide range of learning experiences across the platform. Tracking refers to the process of sending a grade or completion status to Thrive when a learner reaches a specific point. It can also involve bookmarking a point in the course, allowing the learner to return and continue from where they left off. A session is a scheduled date, time, and location (physical or online) where attendance is tracked. A specification that tracks and records learning experiences both online and offline. It allows for more flexible data tracking beyond traditional LMS platforms, capturing activities across various systems and environments.
