Article	Users can write articles directly onto the platform using the simple text editor. This is also great for writing quick updates, announcements and step guides. Alternatively add in images to help bring the text to life.
Certificates	The ability to view and export a PDF certificate showing assigned learning completion data.
Collaborations	Allows assigned groups of users to post and share new or existing content on behalf of an internal team, brand, or subject. Complete with their own unique name and thumbnail.
Collections	Tag groupings that organise the Explore page, with dedicated Topics, Skills and Collections pages.
Comment disabling	Administrators can choose to turn on or off commenting to prevent users from commenting on content and to control the narrative on information only posts.
Content archiving	Content can be removed from the general view but still remain available to the author and admins to either delete, or restore.
Content duplication: layouts	Duplicate layouts to reuse a proven structure.
Content tagging with suggestions	Thrive makes posting and tagging content quick and easy by suggesting tags to you and your users based on metadata, keywords and tags you use often when creating content.
Content versioning - files, eLearning and links	Thrive supports the ability to replace content such as files, eLearning and links, without having to delete the old piece of content and lose all records and analytics.
Custom HTML blocks	Paste or write HTML in Spaces and mixed content. Available to all editors, and to learners where UGC is on.
Discussions and comments (questions)	Encourage your users to ask questions and post images on the platform using the Question feature to seek out answers from anyone in the business. This can help form discussions and create a bank of FAQs that future users can also benefit from.
Elearning (SCORM 1.2, 2004, CMI5, TinCan)	Thrive allows you to upload different types of elearning packages which can be launched by users and tracked on your platform.
Endorse content	Thrive allows you to endorse content which is really important and is a great way of differentiating from UGC content.
File upload	Thrive accepts a range of file types, which embed on the platform. Upload files and general resources such as PDFs, Infographics, Images and templates.
Flipcards and accordions	New interactive blocks for mixed content.
HTML block with AI	Generate working HTML from a plain-language prompt, then refine it by prompt or in the code editor.
Layouts	Six column layouts (Full width, Two columns, Wide + narrow, Narrow + wide, Three columns, Four columns), plus templates such as Hero, Media + text and Gallery.
Link posting	Make the most of content that already exists on the web. Thrive allows you to easily post links to any external resources such as YouTube videos or blogs that you want to share.
Magic blocks (vibe coding)	Build an interactive Quiz, Flashcards, Sorting game, Scenario or Timeline from a prompt.
Mixed Media	A blended piece of content that brings everything together in one place: written articles, quizzes (including image-based questions), uploaded files such as PDFs, infographics, images and templates, and links to external resources such as YouTube videos or blogs, alongside text, images and video. AI tools are available when creating mixed media, allowing you to create courses, scripts, text, images, video and quizzes.
Multi-language file alternatives	Upload language versions of files, media and elearning in one content item.
Pathways	Curate content together to create programmes or a structured journey through content. This can be split up into sections, with the ability to restrict moving on to the next section until all content in the previous one is complete.
Personalised search	Thrive's search functionality helps users find content and answers on the platform easily and that is also relevant to them. Users can also refine these results by using the filters available such as content type, Tags and association. Thrive's AI Assistant, Kiki, can also support providing answers and suggesting content based on natural language search queries.
Professional development - CPD training log	Thrive has the capability for users to log development hours that they have done both on and off the platform. This is separate to their platform learning record.
Quiz	Thrive allows you to test your users' knowledge by setting up quick multiple choice quizzes or bring them to life by adding images to test understanding.
Recommended learning with goals	Automatically recommends learning items that will help users achieve their performance and developmental goals.
Shorts carousel	Video-only homepage lists display as a swipeable Shorts-style carousel.
Tag localisation	The ability to add translations of tags in line with tenant configured languages.
Tasks in pathways	Support your learners to evidence their compliance, achieve their goals and demonstrate their progress by adding tasks to your learning pathways.
Thrive Content	Thrive has a suite of microlearning modules available including eLearning, videos, articles, infographics and more. Thousands of modules are available and are created to change behaviours, attitudes, experiences and mindsets. Thrive Content also includes sector and topic specific modules, including compliance, health and safety, hospitality, entertainment, financial services and so much more.
Video subtitles, captions and translations	The Thrive platform can automatically generate subtitles for videos, which can then be downloaded, edited, and translated. You can also manually add .VTT files for subtitles & captions on video items.
xAPI activity tracking	Thrive supports a number of widely adopted standards for tracking learning activity such as xAPI.
