This helps signal valuable content to other users. ## Manage Access and Share Once published, you can control visibility and distribution directly from the content toolbar using the **Visibility & Share** (👁) and **Share** icons. ### Visibility and Permissions Click **Visibility & Share** (👁) to manage who can see the item. - Switch between **Limited access** for specific groups or **Public** for everyone. - **Add to user’s recommended content**: Add the item to a user’s recommended content list. - **Sharing options**: Select whether everyone can re-share the content or if sharing is restricted to admins and authors. ### Share Content Click **Share** to send the content to other users. - **Send with**: Search for users or audiences in the search bar to notify them of the content. Sharing a limited access item automatically grants access to the recipient. - Click **Copy link to content** to copy a direct link to the content for external use, such as email. Click **Send** to share. ## Pin Content Click **Pin** (📌︎) to save content to your personal **Pinned items** section. Pinned items serve as a quick-access bookmark for important or frequently used resources. To view your pinned items, click the Pin icon (📌︎) in the upper-right corner of the screen. ![Toolbar showing a search bar, microphone, notifications, chat, highlighted pin, help, and profile controls.](https://cdn.document360.io/3a0609fb-d96c-4ce1-aabe-d9338fb1e858/Images/Documentation/image(967).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T16%3A11%3A26Z&se=2026-11-05T17%3A11%3A26Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=kYiOe9abLF0%2FKixqLoYMKW27edpfs0dkHRk74zCUEgE%3D) ## Report Content If you encounter an issue or believe the content needs attention, click **flag** (🏳). Users typically report content for reasons such as: - Reporting a technical issue like a broken link - Notifying administrators of incorrect information - Suggesting the content needs further review To report an item of content: 1. Click **flag** on the content item. ![Toolbar displays pin, visibility, send, and highlighted flag icons for managing content actions.](https://cdn.document360.io/3a0609fb-d96c-4ce1-aabe-d9338fb1e858/Images/Documentation/image(969).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T16%3A11%3A26Z&se=2026-11-05T17%3A11%3A26Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=kYiOe9abLF0%2FKixqLoYMKW27edpfs0dkHRk74zCUEgE%3D) 2. In **Why do you want to report this content?**, select the reason for reporting – for example, inappropriate, incorrect, or outdated content. 3. In **Comment**, enter details about the issue to help admins understand and resolve it. 4. Click **Confirm**. A notification is sent to your site admins to let them know the content was reported. ## Download Content If the content creator has made the resource available to download, you will see a download icon (⤓). Click it to save the content directly to your device. ## Comment on Content Engage in discussions or ask questions directly related to the content: - Enter the comment in the **Share your thoughts…** box under the content. - Tag other users in your comment by typing **@** followed by their name. This automatically notifies them of the conversation. ## Rate Content When Content Rating is enabled, learners see a **Rate this content** prompt at the end of any Content Creator item. They choose a score from one to five stars, and can also add a short optional note on what made the content useful or what would improve it. Select **Save note** to submit, or **Not now** to skip the note and save the star rating only. Learners can return to any content item to update their rating or note at any time. ### View Ratings Admins and content authors can view ratings on any content item’s **Activity** tab. 1. Open the content item. 2. Select the **Activity** tab, then select **Ratings**. The Ratings view shows: - A star distribution chart - Average rating and total ratings count - A chronological list of every rating, including the learner’s name, star score, date, and note, where one was left Filter the list by star rating or by **With a note** to focus on specific feedback. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > Ratings and notes are only visible to admins and the content’s author – never to other learners. ### Things to Know - Turning the toggle off hides the rating prompt and stops collecting new ratings, but doesn’t delete existing ones. Ratings reappear if the feature is switched back on. - Ratings aren’t used in search ranking or content recommendations – they’re a feedback signal for admins and authors only. ## Link Content Linking related pieces of content together helps users discover relevant material without having to search for it themselves – for example, pointing from an overview article to a deeper how-to guide, or grouping a video alongside its supporting reading. 1. Go to a piece of content and scroll down to **Linked Content**. 2. Click **+ Add Content**. 3. In the search bar that appears, search for the content you want to link. You can link multiple items. 4. After selecting all the content, click **Update**. The selected items now appear under **Linked Content**, helping users navigate to related resources. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > By default, only admins can link content together. To let other users do this too, turn on **Allow users to link content** in **Configure** > **Content** > **Settings**.
