To access it, go to **Manage** > **Users**. From here you can create, edit, and manage user accounts, set user roles, assign tag manager access, suspend users individually or in bulk, send password reset links, import users via CSV, and track your licence usage. ## Transfer Learning History Between Profiles Super Admins can copy a learner's completions and [CPD](/v1/docs/cpd-1) records onto another profile using **Import learning history**, an action on the **Manage Users** screen. This is useful when a learner has been set up twice, or arrives as a new profile after moving between sites, and their existing training record needs to follow them. 1. On the Thrive menu, go to **Manage** > **Users**. 2. Click the ellipsis icon (**…**) next to the profile you want to add history to. 3. Click **Import learning history**. ![Import learning history options for a user's profile, including CSV and learner's profile.](https://cdn.document360.io/3a0609fb-d96c-4ce1-aabe-d9338fb1e858/Images/Documentation/image(924).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T14%3A49%3A43Z&se=2026-11-05T15%3A49%3A43Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=eI6%2BZjTwMFxtKW5pdOSVfspdnMjoyp8lbDjYuKHcAD4%3D) 4. Choose where the learning history should come from and click **Continue**. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > Thrive currently only supports the **From another learner’s profile**, which copies completion and CPD records from an existing profile on the platform. The **From a CSV file** option, for bulk-importing learning history from a spreadsheet, is coming later. 5. Carefully read the **Before you begin** information summarising what the import does and doesn’t do, then click **Continue**. This action can’t be undone, so make sure you have the right source profile before you continue. 6. Under **Find the source profile**, search by name, email address, or ref to find the profile you want to copy history from, then click **Continue**. ![Search for the profile to copy learning history from in the input field.](https://cdn.document360.io/3a0609fb-d96c-4ce1-aabe-d9338fb1e858/Images/Documentation/image(925).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T14%3A49%3A43Z&se=2026-11-05T15%3A49%3A43Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=eI6%2BZjTwMFxtKW5pdOSVfspdnMjoyp8lbDjYuKHcAD4%3D) > [!NOTE] > Note: > > If your search returns more than one match, a **Multiple matches – verify carefully** warning appears. Expand each result to check the person's completions and CPD record counts, email, ref, and last active date before selecting one. 7. Choose whether to copy **Completions**, **CPD records**, or both onto the target profile and click **Continue**. Both are switched on by default. ![Settings for completion records and CPD entries with toggle switches for each option.](https://cdn.document360.io/3a0609fb-d96c-4ce1-aabe-d9338fb1e858/Images/Documentation/image(926).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T14%3A49%3A43Z&se=2026-11-05T15%3A49%3A43Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=eI6%2BZjTwMFxtKW5pdOSVfspdnMjoyp8lbDjYuKHcAD4%3D) 8. (Optional) Under **Suspend the source profile?**, choose whether to suspend the source profile once its history has been copied. This is recommended when the source is a duplicate, so the learner ends up with a single active account. This is switched off by default. 9. Check the source and target profiles and the records about to be imported, then select **I’ve checked both profiles and confirm I want to import this learning history.** and click **Import history**. > [!WARNING] > **Important:** > > This step repeats the warning that the import is irreversible. Take a moment to check you have the right source and target profiles before confirming. Once you click **Import history**, a **Records imported** confirmation appears and the copied records are added to the target profile. ## Suspend a User Suspending a user prevents them from accessing the platform, without permanently deleting their profile or learning history. 1. From the Thrive dashboard, go to **Manage** > **Users**. 2. From the **All users** table, search for the user you want to suspend. 3. Click **…** next to the user’s name and select **Suspend**. 4. Click **OK**. Once suspended, the user will appear with a strikethrough on the Manage Users screen. To reactivate the user, click the three-dot menu next to their name and select **Reactivate**. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/3a0609fb-d96c-4ce1-aabe-d9338fb1e858/Images/Documentation/image(258).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-05T14%3A49%3A43Z&se=2026-11-05T15%3A49%3A43Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=eI6%2BZjTwMFxtKW5pdOSVfspdnMjoyp8lbDjYuKHcAD4%3D) > [!NOTE] > Note: > > If you want to permanently delete the user and their personal information, see [How to delete users in Thrive](/v1/docs/how-to-delete-users-in-thrive).
