This feature supports both formal and informal development by enabling users to volunteer their expertise as a mentor or sign up as a mentee to develop needed skills. Mentorship offers: - **Intelligent matching:** Users are matched based on the specific skills they wish to share or acquire, with administrators setting the necessary rules and criteria. - **Structured program management:** Easily set up and oversee all your mentoring programmes, from onboarding new hires to targeted skill mastery and leadership development. - **Skill progression tracking:** Track the progress and development of skills for both mentors and mentees from a centralised hub. - **Flexible roles:** Users can define themselves as a mentor, mentee, or both, allowing for dynamic learning partnerships. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > To set up your mentorship profile, join a programme, or manage connections, see [Mentorship](/v1/docs/mentorship). ### Hub Introducing **Hub**: Thrive's modern, flexible employee experience functionality, providing a highly personalised, widget-based home screen serving as a central "digital front-door" for every employee. Hub is designed to: - **Provide a centralised home screen:** Offer a highly personalised, widget-based home screen. - **Act as a digital front-door:** Consolidate essential third-party tools, services, content, and daily activity. - **Boost productivity:** Bring together the tools your people rely on every day into one intelligent launchpad. - **Enhance engagement:** Reduce friction and increase learning engagement by simplifying access to all necessary resources. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > To configure Hub as an administrator or customise your personal dashboard as a user, see [Hub](/v1/docs/hub). ### Spaces We’re pleased to introduce **Spaces**, dedicated thematic areas designed to enhance collaboration, connectivity, and resource sharing in Thrive. Spaces are customisable environments that: - Act as multi-page central hubs for teams. - Allow administrators to curate specific content and facilitate discussions. - Manage groups of users around a common topic, team, or professional interest. - Make it easier for teams to access relevant learning resources and engage with one another. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > - To create and manage Spaces, see [Spaces](/v1/docs/spaces). > - To use Spaces, see [Accessing Your Spaces](/v1/docs/spaces-1#accessing-your-spaces) ### Assessment We’re launching **Assessment**, a major new feature designed to streamline the process of verifying practical, on-the-job skills across your organisation. This powerful tool digitises the fragmented, often paper-based tracking currently used for real-world evaluations, ensuring consistency and clear skill progression. Assessments enable managers to formally assess learners' competence and log verifiable, auditable results directly against the learner's profile in Thrive. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > To learn how to create and use this feature for documenting competence in areas like safety compliance, equipment handling, and procedural checks, see [Assessment](/v1/docs/assessments). ### Other Enhancements - **Connector Search**: Users can now search across all connected third-party platforms (like Google Drive, SharePoint, and Box) directly through the [AI Assistant](/v1/docs/kiki-thrives-ai-sidekick), providing a single, intelligent way to discover trusted organisational knowledge and break down content silos. See more: [Connector Search](/v1/docs/connector-search) - **Smart Support**: We are launching **Smart Support**, a new, dedicated AI agent accessible through the Help (**?**) icon, providing administrators with immediate, context-aware technical support and seamlessly connecting them with the Thrive Support team when needed. See more: [Smart Support](/v1/docs/fin-ai-agent) - **Content Creator Columns**: Users now have increased flexibility when designing content by using the new **Columns** content type, which allows up to four images to be organised side-by-side in vertical columns in a single block. - **Festive theme**: Get into the holiday spirit! Before logging in, a new prompt will appear asking you to **Enable Festive Mode**. When active, all your Thrive instances will feature a special Christmassy theme, including animated snow on the screen. To disable: Simply go to your Profile settings and select your preferred **Theme**. > [!NOTE] > Note: > > The Festive theme will be active until 2nd January 2026. ## Mobile App The new **speech-to-text feature for the AI Assistant on the Thrive Mobile App** introduces a faster, more natural, and hands-free way to interact. A self-contained unit of a SCORM course, bundled according to the Content Packaging specification. It includes all necessary files and metadata to deliver the course within an LMS.
