In the Thrive menu, go to **Manage** > **Content**. 2. In either the **Published** or **Archived** table, click the ellipsis (**...**) next to the content item you want to edit. 3. Select **Edit**. You will be taken directly to the edit screen for the content. ## Apply Tags to Content 1. In **Manage** > **Content**, in the **Published** or **Archived** tables, select one or more content items you want to apply tags to. 2. In the selection bar that appears, click **Apply tags**. 3. Search for and select one or more tags from your tag library. 4. Click **Review tags**. 5. Review the summary of tags and content items, then click **Apply [#] tags** to confirm. Tags are applied to all selected items instantly. ## Published Tab The following actions are available for content items in the **Published** tab. ### Grant Users and Audiences Access to Content 1. In **Manage** > **Content** > **Published**, select the content items you want to grant access to. 2. In the selection bar that appears, click **Grant access**. 3. In the **Grant access** panel, search for and select the users or audiences you want to grant access to. 4. Click **Next**. 5. Turn on **Also grant access to items within pathways** if you also want these audiences and users to see content within a selected pathway. 6. Click **Grant access** to confirm. Users or audiences are given visibility of the selected content. Access can be removed from individual content items later. ### Edit Content Settings 1. In **Manage** > **Content** > **Published**, select the content items you want to edit. 2. In the selection bar that appears, click **Edit settings**. 3. In the **Bulk edit settings** panel, expand any of the following sections and choose a new value for each setting you want to change: - **Publishing as...**: Reassign authorship of the selected items by searching for and selecting a user or collaboration. Leave as **No change** to keep each item’s current author. - **Visibility & share**: - **Who can view this content?**: - **No change**: Keep the current visibility settings. - **Limited access**: Only people who already have access can view it. - **Public**: Everyone can view it. - **Sharing options**: - **No change**: Keep the current sharing settings. - **Allow sharing to anyone**: Anyone with access can share the content and grant access to new people. - **Restrict sharing**: Only admins and authors of the content can share it. - **Endorsement & CPD**: - **No change**: Keep the current endorsement settings. - **Endorse this content**: Mark it as officially approved; learners see an endorsement badge. Optionally, search for and assign a CPD category so completions will then count towards learners’ professional development. - **Remove endorsement**: Remove the endorsement from the content. - **Configuration**: - **No change**: Keep the current comment settings. - **Enable comments**: Let learners comment on the content. - **Disable comments**: Turn off commenting for the content. 4. Click **Review**. 5. On the **Review changes** screen, check the summary of what will change, then click **Apply to [#] items** to confirm. Applying a setting overrides the existing value across all selected items. ### Archive Content You must archive content before you can delete it. Archiving means that the content will still be available to the author and admins, but no longer visible to other users. 1. In **Manage** > **Content** > **Published**, select the content items you want to archive. 2. In the selection bar that appears, click **Archive**. 3. In the confirmation popup, click **Archive** to confirm. The content is now archived and is only accessible to the author and admins. Which users can archive content depends on their role: | User Role | Permissions | | --- | --- | | Super Admins | All content on the platform | | Learning Admins | All content on the platform | | Authors | Only their own content | | Collaborators | Content they’ve posted through a collaboration | ## Archived Tab The following actions are available for content items in the **Archived** tab. ### Restore Content Restored content moves back to **Published** and becomes visible again to the users who could access it before it was archived. 1. In the confirmation popup, click **Restore** to confirm. In the confirmation popup, click **Delete** to confirm. The content is permanently removed from the platform and can’t be recovered.
