How the Search page works

Prev Next

The search page in Thrive displays content and user profiles related to your search terms, along with key details such as content type, author, and endorsement status. It’s designed to help you find what you’re looking for quickly and accurately.

Intelligent Search

Thrive’s Intelligent Search uses a combination of traditional keyword matching and AI-powered vector search to deliver smarter, more relevant results. For shorter queries (up to three words), Thrive blends both methods to ensure accuracy. For longer, more natural-language queries, vector search takes the lead — helping identify the intent behind your search and surfacing the most relevant content, even if it doesn’t include exact keywords. All content — including titles, descriptions, articles, and PDFs — is searchable for richer, more precise results.

Filtering Search Results

To narrow down your results, use the filtering options available on the top of the search results page. You can filter by:

  • Endorsed content

  • Content assigned to you

  • Content type (e.g. article, broadcast, events)

  • Tags

You can also sort search results using the buttons on the top left of the page — for example, by Recent or Popular content.

User Search

You can also search for users using the same search bar. When you begin typing a name, suggested matches will appear in a dropdown. Selecting a user will take you directly to their profile page.
