Quizzes in Thrive help assess knowledge and reinforce learning. You can customise the number of questions, passing requirements, and feedback to align with your objectives.
Creating a Quiz
In the Thrive menu, go to Create > Add a new > Quiz.
The Create a new Quiz screen appears.In Title of your new Quiz, enter a title.
Click CREATE QUIZ.
(Optional) To change the thumbnail, under Thumbnail Preview, select an auto-generated image or click Change to upload your own.
Provide a Summary describing the quiz.
Scroll down to Multiple choice questions and enter the first question.
Under Answer Options, enter one or more possible answers. To add more than two, click + Add another answer.
Select the correct answer(s) by clicking the checkmark beside them.
(Optional) Enter feedback messages under Correct Answer Feedback and Incorrect Answer Feedback (for example, hints or explanations).
Click ADD THIS QUESTION to save it.
Repeat steps 6 to 10 for additional questions.
Enter the Number of correct answers to pass the quiz.
If linking the quiz to specific skills, in the Choose skills dropdown, select them.
(Optional) Add tags to categorise the quiz.
To restrict visibility, under Share with people, search for users or groups and select Only visible to the members shared with.
(Optional) To prevent users from sharing, deselect Allow resharing.
To notify users when they receive the quiz:
Toggle Notify to YES.
(Optional) Enter a message.
Click Post.
The quiz is created and shared. If notifications were enabled, users will be notified. To make changes, click EDIT.
Advanced Settings
(Optional) Under Advanced settings, set a Duration (time limit) to complete the quiz.
To disable comments, toggle Disable Comments on.
To link the quiz to skill boosting:

Skill boosting must be enabled on your Thrive instance to use this feature.
Toggle Skill boosting on.
Select the skill, level, and completion requirements for the quiz. In the example below, the user will achieve Intermediate level after completing the quiz:
Click Post or Update.
Advanced settings are applied to the quiz.
