Push Notification Toggles - Overview

The Notifications screen allows super admins to manage which notifications are sent as mobile push alerts to end users. From here, you can enable or disable certain notifications, view fixed toggles that can't be changed, and see which options don't have push notifications. End users can also customise their own preferences within their system settings.

Note:

To be able to receive push notifications to the Thrive app, you will need to be sure you're running the latest version of the Thrive app. To check head to the App Store/Google Play to make sure you've got the latest version installed.

As a super admin, you can manage which notifications are sent as mobile push notifications by navigating to Configure > Notifications.

Similar to email notifications, you can disable certain toggles and set default preferences for your end users.

As a super admin, you can toggle the following push notifications on/off for your end users:

  • Follows

  • Comments

  • Shares

  • Skills

  • Entries

  • Goals

  • Event Invites

The following mobile toggles are fixed and cannot be turned off:

  • Campaigns

  • Admin

  • Assignments

These mobile toggles do not trigger push notifications, which is why they display as N/A:

  • Event Management

  • Manager

End users can control their own mobile notification preferences by accessing their User Preferences.
