Can Thrive integrate with Active Directory (AD) for user access?

Yes, Thrive integrates with your Microsoft AD environment for user authentication and management.

Thrive achieves this through industry-standard identity services, most commonly Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).

How the Integration Works:

  • Authentication (Login): Thrive does not connect directly to your on-premise AD. Instead, we integrate with your identity provider (such as Azure AD or ADFS) using SAML Single Sign-On (SSO). This allows users to log in to Thrive using their existing network credentials.

  • User Management (Provisioning): We use SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) via Azure AD to automatically manage user accounts. This ensures that when a user is created, updated, or deactivated in your AD/HR system, their Thrive account is automatically synced, reducing administrative overhead.

In short, the answer is yes, but it uses the modern, secure bridge of Azure AD to ensure your corporate network remains secure.
