What timezone do APIs use when retrieving data?

All timestamps are recorded in UTC, regardless of the user's profile timezone or locale.

Do exports change depending on who is downloading them (admin vs learning admin vs user)?

No - If a person has access to export, the export will be the same across roles

How to export an all users report?

Full dataset only available from Support or using our Users API

Basic data available via Insights > Leadership Dashboard > My People

How do I export a compliance report?

Admins, and audience managers with the Insights permission, can view all assigned learning via Insights > Leadership Dashboard or by using the individual audience dashboard for a specific assignment.

How do I export a contents report?

This is currenly only available as a request to Thrive Support or by using our Contents API

How do I get a list of users who have Goals?

As an admin, you can request a full Goals report via Thrive Support. Any manager can see a list of their Team's goals via Insights > Teams

Can you view unassigned content on the Leadership Dashboard?

As an Admin, all content can be viewed using the Content Dasboard and clicking the Content Engagement tab. This will allow you to filter for all content against it's engagement within a date range.

Content completions can be accessed using Team Progress dashboard and clicking Completions

What values are available for export from the Activity Tab?

The content activity logs show all activity recorded against that content. Actions may vary based on the content yype but will include viewed, shared, pinned, searched, liked, passed, failed, completed. Any content using xAPI may include more advanced verbs

What is the difference between assignment statuses?

Incomplete/open: Content has not been completed in the current recurrence period

Complete: Content is complete and not currently open for reassignment

Scheduled: Content has been scheduled for re-assignment

Overdue: Assignment is overdue and not complete

Archived: Assignment has been removed from the learner's learning.

How are views recorded on an activity report?

Views are recorded with a duration when the user navigates away from the page. Duration is in seconds.

Can we report on user permisions?

There is no report for platform permissions, but Super Admins and Learning Admins can be viewed under Configure > Permissions

Why would audience compliance % change?

There are a few reasons for the compiance rate of an audience to change. This can be due to:

  • If users have been added/removed from the audience

  • Users have completed the assigned learning

  • If learning has been reassigned as a recurring assignment.

How can a manager see non-assigned completions for their team?

Content completions can be accessed using Team Progress dashboard and clicking Completions

Can I report on who has downloaded content?

No. There uis currently no reporting options to report on downloaded files.

Why do some users show with a strikethru on activity reports?

When viewing the content activity logs, inactive users will show with a strikethru to Admins only. End users will see them on the content as Inactive User.

How do I report on user tasks?

Completed tasks can be viewed via the learner's Learn page or by requesting an Entries report from Thrive Support

Can I report on which users have used Dark Mode?

No. There uis currently no reporting options to report on who uses dark mode.

Can I report on who has enabled specific notifications?

No. There uis currently no reporting options to report on an individual's notification settings.

How do I unzip my monthly report?

Reports are password protected as a zip and so must be unzipped using the password provided before attempting to open the report file.

How do I report on user logins?

Insights > Platform > User Behaviours provides information active/inactive users

A user report or our public Users API can be used to get more detailed information

What does the Pathway Progress Report cover?

Completions recorded for each content within any pathway. it will include the pathway, section and content information as well as user details and their completion date. More information can be found in our Platform Reports Catalogue

How do I see how many tickets have been logged with support for my company?

Login to Thrive Support. Cllick "Check your requests". Click "My Organization"

Your Account Director can also request this information.

Can I report on what app (mobile/web) learners are using?

No. There uis currently no reporting options to report on web app vs mobile app usage.

What are activity durations measured in on reports?

Duration is logged in seconds.

Will I see imported completions on the content activity page?

No. When we import copmpletions, we only import the completion record. no activity before this is logged as part of the import. More information on what to expect for completion imports can be found in our support guide here

How do I measure platform impressions?

Platform impressions can be viewed and exported from Insights > Platform > Content.

How do I export compliance reports fo specific team members / users?

Reports can be exported from the Leadership Dashbpard and filtered by user(s). Additional filtering can also be applied based on a custom field.

Can I report on elearning grades / scores?

Data is recorded but not currently publicly accessible via reporting or APIs

Why is the completedDate value "null" on a compliance report?

Null denotes that the user has not completed the content

Can I report on completions for leavers?

Yes. Suspended users are still visible and data retained

The user's unique user ID is required to report on deleted users

How do I report on learning for a deleted user?

Deleted users are soft deleted but all identifiable data is removed. The user ID is required to identify them and view their learning History

How can I add custom profile fields to platform reports?

When adding a custom field via Configure > profiles, each custom field can be enabled to "include in exports"

Does a Flagged Content report show all flags or only those unresolved?

The Flagged Content report provided by Thrive support will include all flags
