Thrive is introducing in-app 1:1 messaging for all users — a simple, secure way to communicate directly inside the platform without switching to email or an external tool.

Conversations persist over time, so users can pick up where they left off, revisit past discussions, and maintain continuity across weeks or months. Chat is available to everyone on Thrive, and messages are tied to user profiles, keeping everything connected to the platform experience.

What you'll be able to do

  • Send and receive direct messages with any Thrive user in your organisation.

  • Access your full conversation history at any time.

  • Continue discussions asynchronously, without needing to schedule a session.

Particularly useful for mentoring

Chat is designed with mentoring relationships in mind. Mentees can follow up after sessions, share progress updates, and ask questions as they arise. Mentors can respond in their own time, with full context from previous exchanges. This keeps momentum going between formal meetings and helps build stronger, more consistent relationships throughout a programme.
