The Coming Soon section serves as your official preview of the new features and significant enhancements scheduled for release across the Thrive Learning Platform and Thrive Mobile App. Here, you will find preliminary details, key functionality outlines, and anticipated availability dates for our next wave of improvements.
Brilliant Basics
Brilliant Basics is coming to Thrive. This is our dedicated space for updates to the core features that keep your platform running smoothly every day — from user and content management to the platform experiences your learners and admins rely on most.
The features arriving under Brilliant Basics aren't just fixes and tweaks. They're meaningful improvements that give admins more control, learners a better experience, and your platform a more polished, consistent feel. Coming up:
Bulk content management: Archive, restore and delete directly in admins' hands, no support ticket required.
Multi-criteria badges: Smarter badge rules that reflect real learning journeys.
Pathway header refresh: A cleaner, more responsive experience across all devices.
Bulk suspend by audience: Super Admins will soon be able to suspend all members of an audience in a single action, with bulk operations running as background jobs so there's no impact on platform performance.
Events rebuild: Admins will soon benefit from a fully rebuilt event creation experience, including a refreshed UI and Google and Microsoft integrations that generate session URLs automatically. A second phase introducing an improved user-facing events experience will follow.
Profile page redesign: The desktop Profile page is getting a full UI rebuild, bringing a cleaner, more modern layout with improved presentation of skills, team information, and personal details, aligned with the already-refreshed mobile experience.
For more information, see Brilliant Basics.
Hub
Hub for all users: Super Admins will soon be able to roll Hub out to their entire organisation, moving beyond the current Super Admin-only access. Rollout is optional and fully controlled by the admin, with no forced migration.
Configurable landing page: Admins will soon be able to choose whether users land on the Homepage or their personal Hub when logging in to Thrive.
Notes widget: Users will soon be able to add personal sticky notes directly to their Hub, with five colour options for quick visual organisation. Notes are private, lightweight, and require no admin configuration. See more: Creating Personal Notes
To-Do List widget: Users will soon be able to add personal task lists directly to their Hub, creating and checking off tasks without leaving their workspace. Like Notes, it's private, lightweight, and requires no admin configuration.
Content Creator
Link block enhancements: Authors will soon be able to customise the appearance and description of external link cards in Mixed content, and set completion to trigger only once all links have been clicked. See more: Content Creator
Skill boosting for Mixed content: Authors will soon be able to enable skill boosting on Mixed content items, so that completed content counts towards learners' skills logs and personal development goals.
Pathway publishing flow: Publishing a Pathway will soon open the same side-drawer experience used elsewhere in the Content Creator, bringing consistency to publishing across the platform while retaining all existing Pathway-specific controls including Skill Boosting and progression settings. See more: Pathway
Mentoring
Mentoring content packs: Admins will soon be able to attach a content pack to a mentoring programme, with materials unlocking progressively as sessions are completed, keeping structured learning and mentoring in one place. See more Mentorship
Advanced mentor matching: Admins will soon be able to configure programme-level matching rules based on skills, goals, and user profile fields, giving organisations greater control over match quality while keeping the process fully automated.
Skills
Skill level privacy: Super Admins will soon be able to give users the option to hide their skill levels from other users across the platform, encouraging more honest self-assessment without affecting visibility for Super Admins or mentor matching.
Mobile App
Spaces in mobile search and Kiki: Content from Spaces will soon appear in search results and Kiki responses on the mobile app, helping members find Space content as easily as any other content on the platform.
