This template will allow you to connect to the following API end points within Power BI:
Users
Contents
Activities
Tags
CPD Categories
CPD Entries
CPD Requirement Summaries
After downloading Power BI Desktop and opening the template you will be prompted to:
Enter the date parameters for the activities data, we recommend limiting this to 1 months worth of data at a time
Enter your username and password
Set the data privacy level to private; if you are not automatically prompted or want to check the privacy levels select 'Home' >> 'Transform data' >> 'Data source settings', then selecting edit on each data source in turn
Once you can see your data, select ‘File’, ‘Save As’ - rename the file and save it as a .PBIX file in your chosen location. Please ensure you follow your internal I.T. and data protection controls when saving the file, including limiting access to those who are authorised to view the data. Once saved please delete this downloaded template file
