We are soon launching the Thrive Support AI Agent for immediate support directly in the Thrive platform. This feature allows administrators to access technical help and resolve issues without leaving Thrive.

The new Thrive Support Agent is distinct from our general platform chatbot, Kiki. While Kiki is designed for learning and knowledge discovery across your content, the Thrive Support AI Agent is the dedicated tool specifically focused on providing technical assistance and connecting administrators with the support team.

Note:

This initial release is designed for administrators who manage Thrive instances and require direct access to technical support. The system uses secure authentication (JWT) to identify you and sync your chat history seamlessly.

Key Benefits

The Thrive Support AI Agent enhances efficiency by streamlining the support process:

  • Instant, context-aware support: Receive immediate answers to technical support questions directly inside Thrive.

  • Unified access: Access self-service options and live support from a simple Help (?) icon on the Thrive interface.

  • Reduced friction: Eliminates the need to switch to external help desks or manually raise support tickets.

  • Secure and personalised: The system securely recognises you and maintains your chat history with our support team.

Enabling the Thrive Support AI Agent

Administrators must enable the Thrive Support AI Agent before it can be used in the Thrive interface.

  1. In the Thrive menu, go to Configure > AI features.

  2. Scroll down to the Smart Support section.

  3. Review the mandatory data processing consent notice and, if you agree to the terms, switch the toggle to enable Smart Support.

  4. Click Save.

The Smart Support AI Agent is now accessible to all administrators by clicking the Help (?) icon in the top-right of the Thrive interface.

Using the Thrive Support AI Agent

  1. Click the Help (?) icon in the top-right of the Thrive interface.

  2. Click Ask a question to ask the AI Agent your technical support questions.

The Thrive Support AI Agent provides immediate answers by retrieving information from Thrive Help and our Zendesk support database. If the AI Agent can’t provide an answer, it will automatically connect you with a member of the Thrive Support Team.

View Conversation History

The Thrive Support AI Agent remembers previous conversations and uses them for context. To view previous conversations, click Messages.
