Site Onboarding provides a structured and welcoming experience for new users, guiding them through essential first steps like completing their profile and understanding key information. Setting it up effectively boosts engagement and helps you gather valuable user data.
Configuring Site Onboarding
In the Thrive menu, go to Configure > Onboarding.

On the Onboarding page, customise the following settings as necessary:

Switch on welcome email
Toggle Switch on welcome email to Enabled to create and send a custom welcome email when new users are added to Thrive.
Welcome email template
Customise the template in the designated section to suit your business’s specific needs and branding.
Onboarding
Toggle Onboarding to Enabled to customise the individual onboarding settings below.
Note:
For any of the settings below, you can select Allow Skip to let users skip that step during the first-time login process, with the option of completing it at a later date.
Terms & conditions
Enable and click Edit to add your organisation's terms and conditions for users to agree to upon their first login.
Note:
You can provide this in English and any other languages enabled on your site.
User Profile Information
Enable to allow users to add a profile picture and a short biography when they first log in.
User Interests
Enable to allow users to select topics they are interested in during their first login. Thrive will then recommend content to them based on these selected interests.
User Skills
Enable to allow users to add relevant skills to their profile when they first log in.
Include Video
Enable to present new users with a specified video when they log in for the first time.
To attach a video, use the search bar to find a video previously uploaded to Thrive.
Add User Redirect Link
Enable to specify a link users will be redirected to after completing their initial login and profile setup.
Click Save.
The customisable onboarding settings are saved for every new user, ensuring they are ready to make the most of your Thrive platform from day one.
