Active A Campaign is Active between its start and end date. There's no draft state – it goes live automatically on the start date. See also: Inactive.
Audience The group of users you want to see your Campaign. Only users in the selected audience will see the banner on their Home screen. You need to add at least one audience to create a Campaign.
Banner The full-width image that sits at the top of the Home screen while your Campaign is running. It's the first thing users will notice when they log in, and it's a great way to bring your homepage to life. It shows a headline, sub-heading, and end date. It's optional – just turn off the Show on home feed toggle if you don't need it.
Campaign A Campaign is a great way to share information with your whole business or a specific group of users over a set period of time. Add a title, summary, start and end dates, your audiences, and a tag, then build it out with Releases. You'll find Campaigns under Manage > Campaigns.
Draft When adding content to a Release, you can include content that's still in draft – it'll publish to users at the time and date you set for the Release. Select content from My Drafts or filter by the Campaign tag when adding content.
Inactive A Campaign becomes Inactive once its end date has passed. The banner disappears from the Home screen, and the Campaign moves to your inactive list. See also: Active.
Release A Release is how you share and schedule content in a Campaign. Without a Release, no content will appear on the Campaign Detail Screen when a user clicks the banner. Each Release has its own title, summary, and date – so you can drip content out over the life of the Campaign. You can add as many Releases as you like.
Show on Home Feed The toggle that controls whether your Campaign banner appears on the Home screen. You'll need to upload a desktop banner image to turn this on.
Tag Every Campaign needs a tag. It links the Campaign to a topic across the platform and helps you measure how well the related content performed – you can filter by the tag in analytics. We recommend encouraging users to tag their own content with the Campaign tag too, as it'll automatically appear in the User Shared section on the Campaign Detail Screen.
User Shared Content A feed on the Campaign Detail Screen that automatically pulls in content tagged with the same tag as your Campaign. It's a great way to surface peer-to-peer learning and encourage users to contribute around the Campaign theme.
