Collaboration Permissions

What content can a user post in a collaboration?

Users who are part of a collaboration but are not admins can create any content type. However, they can only post user-generated content (UGC) if it is enabled for the collaborative group they belong to.

When posting as themselves, users must still adhere to the UGC configuration settings.

What can a user see and do in a collaboration?

In addition to posting content, users within a collaboration can:

  • View content activity for any content within the collaboration.

  • Edit any content within the collaboration.

  • Delete any content within the collaboration.

  • Star comments in Questions that are part of the collaboration.

  • Manage events and attendance related to the collaboration.

Note:

For a detailed breakdown of permissions, see THRIVE Roles & Permissions matrix in Thrive Tribe.
