Faster Insights Dashboard Performance

We're moving every customer onto their own dedicated, isolated reporting environment, with data separated at the database level for stronger security. There's no visible change to your dashboards today, but this lays the groundwork for faster load times, which will roll out in phases over the coming months.

Overview Tab

Insights now opens on a new Overview Dashboard – one page that puts active users, completion rate, completions and your compliance breakdown front and centre, so you can see where things stand without digging through reports. Filter by audience and switch to Focus mode for a bigger, distraction-free view.

Bulk Edit Settings

You can now select multiple content items in Manage > Content and click Edit settings to update visibility, sharing, comments, endorsement, and author in a single action, instead of editing each item individually. Changing a setting overrides the existing value across the whole selection.

Custom Reward IDs

Every reward and badge can now have a unique, editable Custom reward ID – auto-generated from its name – so you can tell identically named rewards apart and search for them on the reward list or in the audience rule builder.

Content Creator Redesign: New Look and Layouts

Content Creator has a new Layouts module and a redesigned block builder. Choose from pre-built layouts – such as full width, two columns, and hero – to structure your content, then add blocks from the streamlined left-hand navigation. Existing content keeps working as it did before; Layouts are optional for new content.

Content Duplication - Layouts

You can now duplicate an existing content item's layout. Use the new Duplicate action to create a new draft that carries over the item's structure and styling, with the content itself stripped out so you can populate it fresh. This is the first of two phases – duplicating full content (text and media included) is planned for a later release.

E-Learning Block in Content Creator

Content Creator now has an E-Learning block, letting authors embed a SCORM e-learning package alongside other blocks like video and PDF in the same lesson. Completion is tied to the e-learning module's own status, and existing tracking and reporting are unaffected.

Accordion Blocks for Mixed Content

Mixed Content now includes an Accordion block, letting authors organise content into named, expandable sections. Each section can hold any content block – text, image, video, and more – and learners open sections one at a time rather than seeing everything at once.

Multi-Language E-Learning File Alternatives in Content Creator

Authors can now upload a language-specific e-learning file alternative in the Content Creator, with learners automatically served the version matching their language.

Add an Optional Cost to Events

Event authors can now add an optional Event cost when creating or editing an event, by choosing a Currency and entering an Amount. It applies to every occurrence of the event. Learners see the cost on the event page and again when they confirm registration – no payment is collected in Thrive.

Set a Minimum Attendees Target for Event Occurrences

Set an optional Minimum attendees target when creating or editing an occurrence. The event page shows how bookings compare against it, so you can see at a glance whether a session is on track – it's a planning aid only, and doesn't block registrations or send alerts. Visible to admins, learner admins, and the event author.

Mark Attendance with a QR Code

For in-person events, admins can turn on a setting that lets attendees mark their own attendance by scanning a QR code in the room. Each upcoming occurrence gets its own code – show it on screen, print it, or copy the link – and attendance is recorded the moment someone scans it, no paper register or manual entry needed.

Create External Content via API

Content created through Thrive's API can now use the same flexible, block-based format as other content in Thrive, instead of the older link-only format. Existing content isn't affected, and this happens automatically – there's no setting to turn on. Once content is created this way, it can't be reversed.

Branded App Deep Linking from Web URL

Thrive web links shared by email, Slack, or a campaign now open straight into a user's branded mobile app instead of a browser, when that app is installed – covering content, mixed content, space, and login links on both iOS and Android. If the app isn't installed, the link still opens in a browser as before.

App Icon Quick Actions Menu

Long-pressing the Thrive app icon (or using the app shortcuts menu on Android) now opens key actions – like assigned learning, search, Kiki, and posting – without opening the app first. Options shown adapt to what's enabled for the organisation and learner.
