Content Blocks

Content Blocks are the foundational elements you use to build and structure your Thrive platform's main landing page. They are essentially customisable content containers that automatically populate with dynamic, relevant learning materials and information based on specific criteria you set.

Instead of manually linking every piece of content, a Content Block allows you to feature entire categories of content — from the latest resources to the most popular videos.

Content Blocks serve two critical purposes:

  • Site Structure: They allow administrators to create a customised, engaging layout using the site builder.

  • Dynamic Curation: They automatically curate content for the end-user based on their role, team, or activity.

Examples of how you can use a Content Block include:

  • Trending: A block that automatically displays the Most Popular content based on recent views. You can filter this content by tags or content type and even restrict it to show only what's popular with the user's team.

  • Latest: A block that shows Recently Added Content or What's New.

  • Recommended: A block that uses algorithms to show content Recommended For You based on your interests.

  • Essential: A block for Mandatory Training or Assigned Learning.

By configuring these blocks, you ensure every user sees timely, relevant, and engaging content as soon as they log into Thrive.
