The Content Creator in Thrive is a tool for building structured learning content within collaborations. It supports both manual creation and AI-assisted drafting, allowing you to start from scratch, input your own text, or upload a PDF. Whether you're a subject matter expert or part of a team, the Content Creator streamlines the process of turning ideas and materials into publish-ready content.
Note:
To use the Content Creator, the New content authoring experience beta toggle must first be enabled by a super admin. For more details, see AI Content Creator - extra features for November.
Using the Content Creator
In the Thrive menu, go to Manage > Collaborations and select the collaboration you want to create content in.
Note:
You must be a member of the collaboration to create content within it.
Go to Shared drafts and click Create new Content.
If AI features are enabled on your Thrive platform, select one of the following options and click Next:
Build it myself: Create content manually, without AI assistance.
Start with text: Enter your own content and let AI help shape it into a structured format.
Upload a PDF: Generate a draft course from an existing PDF.
Note:
If AI features are not enabled on your platform, you’ll go straight to Build it myself.
Each option launches a step-by-step flow designed to help you quickly create and structure content, with or without the support of Thrive AI.
