Thrive's AI-powered PDF course generator lets you quickly create a structured draft course by uploading a PDF. It’s ideal for subject matter experts (SMEs), learning managers, and teams who want to streamline content creation using existing materials.
Requirements
Enable the Content Creator: Text Generation toggle in Configure > AI features.
This feature won’t impact existing workflows unless the toggle is switched on.
Manual course creation is still available and unaffected.
Generating Courses from PDF
Go to Manage > Collaborations and select the relevant collaboration.
Go to Shared drafts > Create new Content to open the content creation screen.
Click Upload a PDF, then click Next to access the Upload File screen.
Select your PDF and click Upload.
Once the file is uploaded, Thrive AI guides you through:
Adding context, audience, learning outcomes, tone, and preferred length
Reviewing and refining the AI-generated course outline
Based on your input, Thrive AI generates a draft course that’s ready for further editing and collaboration.
