The Explore page gives learners a way to browse and discover content through a set of organised folders and subfolders. Content is sorted into these folders based on the tags assigned to it, giving you full control over how your library is structured and presented.
For example, a main folder titled "HR Policies" could contain subfolders such as "Onboarding" and "Compliance". Any content tagged with both a primary tag and a secondary tag will appear in the corresponding subfolder automatically.
Note:
The Explore feature is not available as a separate function in the Thrive Mobile App. It is incorporated into Search, which provides full content and people search functionality.
Configuring Your Explore Page
Setting up your Explore page involves two steps: creating your collections, then assigning them.
Create Your Collections
Before you can configure your Explore page, you'll need to create your collections – one to use as your primary (main folder) collection and one to use as your secondary (subfolder) collection.
Note:
For full instructions, see Collections.
Assign Your Collections
Once you've created your collections, assign them to your Explore page.
In the Thrive menu, go to Manage > Collections.
Click the Explore tags tab at the top of the page.
In the Primary Tag Collection dropdown, select the collection you want to use for your main folders.
In the Secondary Tag Collection dropdown, select the collection you want to use for your subfolders.
Click Save changes.
Once saved, your Explore page will reflect the folder structure defined by your collections. Any content tagged with both a primary and a secondary tag will automatically appear in the corresponding subfolder, ready for learners to discover.
Adding Content to Your Explore Page
For a piece of content to appear on the Explore page, it must be tagged with both a primary tag and a secondary tag. Content tagged with both will automatically appear in the corresponding subfolder – no further action is needed once your collections are assigned.
Tagging content with only one tag will mean it does not appear in either folder.
