Content and Visibility
What determines if a piece of content appears on the Explore page?
For content to appear in a specific subfolder on the Explore page, it must be tagged with both a primary tag (from your Primary Tag Collection) and a secondary tag (from your Secondary Tag Collection).
Can I restrict who sees certain categories or collections on Explore?
Yes. While the Explore folders themselves are visible to all, the content within them follows standard sharing and audience rules. If a user does not have permission to view a specific piece of content, it will not appear for them even if they navigate to that collection.
How many tiles can appear on the Explore page?
Level 1 and Level 2 of Explore (typically categories or collections) have no item limit.
Level 3 (content items within a collection) displays 50 items per page, sorted by most recent first. Users can page through to view more content if a collection exceeds this limit.
Why am I seeing different Content Items in the Explore page than my colleague, who has the same permissions as I do?
You are only provided with Content Items that you have the ability to view and match the language(s) you have set in your profile settings. For example, if your language on your profile is English (United Kingdom) and there are Content Items that have been created with English (United States) as their language, then you will not see them in the Explore page unless you add English (United States) as an additional language in your profile settings.
Images
How do I change the thumbnail image for a folder on the Explore page?
Folder thumbnails are pulled directly from the Tag settings. To update an image, go to Manage > Tags, select the relevant tag, and upload a new thumbnail. This image will automatically update on the Explore front page.
What are the recommended image dimensions for Explore tiles?
Explore tiles are responsive and will adjust to fit the user's screen size. Keep important elements within the safe area to avoid them being cropped.
Format: .png, .jpg, or .gif
Maximum dimensions: 610 (w) x 490 (h) px
Safe area: 490 (w) x 370 (h) px
File size: There is no maximum file size, but large images may be compressed automatically to improve loading times.
The tile's title is displayed beneath the tile, not overlaid on the image.
