The Create with AI feature uses AI-driven prompts to help you build structured learning materials quickly. By answering a series of targeted questions, you can generate a complete content draft that aligns with your specific goals and audience.

Getting Started

  1. In the Thrive menu, go to Create.

  2. In the Content Creator area, click Create with AI.

Create With AI Flow

The AI will guide you through a conversational workflow to understand your requirements. You can click Start over at any time to begin the process again, or Back to return to the previous step.

  1. Topic and materials: Describe what you would like to teach, or paste any existing reference material into the text box.

  2. Learning goals: Enter the key skills or knowledge learners should walk away with. Leave this blank to let the AI craft versatile goals.

  3. Audience: Describe your learners – for example, whether they are beginners or already have experience in the area. Leave this blank to generate content suitable for a wide range of audiences.

  4. Content length: Choose how much depth you need:

    • Quick Overview: Perfect for basic intros.

    • Core Concepts: Covers main principles.

    • Comprehensive: Deep dive with examples.

  5. Tone: Select the delivery style that works best for your learners:

    • Casual: Friendly and relaxed, perfect for beginners.

    • Balanced: Professional yet warm, great for most audiences (selected by default).

    • Formal: Structured and academic, ideal for technical topics.

Once you click Next, the AI will generate a structured outline based on your inputs.

Reviewing the Outline

Once your inputs are processed, the AI generates a structured outline for you to review and customise:

  • Edit: Click the pencil icon to rename a section.

  • Delete: Click the bin icon to remove a section.

  • Reorder: Drag the six-dot icon to reorder sections.

  • Expand: Click + Add section to manually add more content areas.

  • Refine: Click Try again to go back and adjust your inputs.

  • Generate: Click Create my content! to build the full draft.

Reviewing the Draft

After the content is generated, you will be taken to a preview of the draft. From here you can:

  • Click Accept and edit to open the draft in the Content Creator for further editing.

  • Click Back to outline to return to the outline and make changes before proceeding.

Once in the Content Creator, you can edit the draft directly.

Publishing

When you are ready to publish, click Publish… in the top right corner of the Content Creator. You will be taken through the following configuration steps before your content goes live:

  1. Thumbnail: Upload a custom image or click Create with AI to generate one. Required before publishing.

  2. Visibility & Share: Set the content to Public or Limited Access, and configure sharing options.

  3. Skills & Topics: Search for and apply Skills and Topics so your content appears in relevant sections across the platform.

  4. Endorsement & CPD: Toggle Endorse this content to mark it as officially approved. When enabled, you can also select a CPD Category.

  5. Configuration: Choose a completion criteria (Complete on view or Confirm accept and understand), set an estimated completion time, and optionally toggle Enable comments.

  6. Click Publish to make the content available on your Thrive platform.

Your content is now active and accessible to learners based on the visibility settings you configured.
