Offline Mode for the Thrive Mobile App will allow you to access and complete content when you don't have an internet connection.

My Downloads area: A brand new section in the app where you can easily find, manage, and access all your downloaded content.
Download supported content: You can download offline-supported learning content to your app's local storage for offline usage.
Offline completion sync: Complete your learning modules while offline, and your completions will automatically sync with Thrive as soon as you reconnect to the internet.
Secure access: If you've been recently logged in and still hold an active session, you can still access your downloaded content using local authentication (such as your biometric or PIN) while offline.

We are committed to continually expanding the types of content you can access in Offline Mode. We will be adding support for more content types over time, rolling them out in phases.

What You Won't Be Able to Do Offline
To ensure a smooth and reliable offline experience, the app will restrict access to features that require an active internet connection. When offline, you will only be able to view the My Downloads page and your downloaded content.
Unsupported content: External links/URLs or content from third-party integrations (such as LinkedIn Learning).
Unsupported features: The Homepage, Kiki, Search, Notifications, Profile, and Learn page (including Skills, Goals, History, Badges, Events, including all in-progress/assigned learning).

Access and Downloads
Where can I find my downloaded content?
All downloaded content is stored, accessed, and managed within the My Downloads section, which you can find in your Profile.
How do I download content for offline use?
You can download supported content directly from the Content screen for offline consumption.
Is downloaded content stored directly on my phone's file system?
No. Downloaded content is only accessible within the app's secure context and can’t be accessed in your device's general file storage.
Can I limit downloads to Wi-Fi only?
Yes, you can choose to only download content when you are connected to Wi-Fi in the Download settings.
What happens if a download fails?
You will be notified if a download fails and given the option to retry the download.
Storage and Management
Is there a limit to how much content I can download?
Yes, a maximum storage limit is allocated for offline downloads. You can view your current storage usage in My Downloads.
What happens if my device runs out of storage?
You will be notified if you have insufficient device storage or have reached the app's allocated storage limit for downloads.
How do I remove downloaded content?
When online, you can remove content individually from either the My Downloads screen or the original content page. You can also delete all downloaded content from My Downloads.
When offline, you can only delete downloaded content from the My Downloads screen.
Will my content automatically update if the author makes changes?
If a downloaded item is updated by the author, you will be given the option to update the content to the latest version.

How do I access the app when I'm offline?
If you have previously logged in and still have an active session, you can verify your access using local authentication (biometric or PIN).
What can I do when my device is offline?
When offline, you can only navigate to the My Downloads screen and access previously downloaded content.
How does content completion work offline?
Any content completions performed offline will automatically sync with Thrive once you regain an internet connection.
How do I know which downloaded items I've completed?
The My Downloads screen will clearly show which items you have completed.
What app features are not available on downloaded content?
When viewing downloaded content, the following actions or information are not available:
Likes, pinning, sharing
Social counts (likes, views, shares)
Reporting content
Following authors
Related content
Comments
Will I know when my connection status changes?
Yes, you will be notified when you lose internet connection and when you regain it.
