Pathways

Pathways are dynamic, structured learning journeys designed to guide users through a curated sequence of content and activities. More than just a simple collection of learning materials, a pathway provides a clear, progressive roadmap for learners to achieve specific outcomes, fulfil compliance requirements, or systematically develop new skills and competencies.

By following a pathway, individuals gain a personalised and engaging learning experience, allowing them to easily track their progress and understand how each step contributes to a larger objective. Pathways can incorporate various types of learning content, assessments, and even interactive tasks that may require evidence or manager approval, fostering a comprehensive and measurable approach to professional development. To support diverse global teams, Pathway titles and descriptions can also be manually translated within Thrive, enabling unified multilingual content management.

Creating a Pathway

  1. In the Thrive menu, go to Create > Pathway.

  2. Provide a title and description for your pathway.

  3. In the Define your path section, add content and optional tasks:

    1. Click + Add Another Section.

    2. Within the section, click + Add Content.

    3. Use the search bar to find and select the content you wish to include.

    4. Click ADD SELECTED.

    5. If the attached content requires learners to provide evidence or manager approval for completion, click + Add task, then select the relevant checkbox(es), and click Add task.

    6. Repeat steps a-e as needed to add more sections and content to your pathway.

  4. Click Post.

Your pathway is now created, containing the attached content. If you created sections, they will appear organised on the left side of the pathway.
