The Skills tab gives leaders and managers a view of skill adoption, capability coverage, and growth across their teams. It's identical across the Team and Leadership dashboards, and only reflects skills explicitly recorded on the platform. Visuals refresh with a maximum lag of six hours, and only endorsed skills are shown by default.
Note:
If you schedule exports from this tab, limit them to once daily at most, and run them outside peak hours of 07:00 to 19:00 UTC.

Filters
Alongside the standard audience filters described on the main Leadership Dashboard page, the Skills tab includes filters specific to skill data:
Filter | Description |
|---|---|
Skill | Include or exclude one or more specific skills. Search or scroll the list, or select + Add values in bulk to paste in several skill names at once. |
Skill endorsed | Filter to endorsed skills (true), unendorsed skills (false), or skills with no endorsement value set ({Null}). This filter is set to true by default. |
Skill Recorded Date | Filter to skills recorded on, before, or after a date. Choose Rolling for a relative date range (like Yesterday), or Fixed for a specific date. |
Skills - view by | Change the attribute the Skill coverage chart is broken down by, such as Audience, User, or Position title. |
Skills metric | Switch the Skill coverage chart between Total skills and Average skill level. |
How Much Skill Data Do We Have, and Is It Growing?
Start with the headline figures: total skills recorded, the number of unique skills, the percentage of users with at least one skill, and average skills per user. The Skill coverage charts below them show how recording activity trends month by month, and how it breaks down by user or by whichever attribute you choose in Skills - view by.
Are People on Track Against Their Targets?
If your organisation has skill levels enabled, this is where you'll see it. The Skill levels overview shows how many recorded skills have a target set and what percentage of users are meeting theirs.
Note:
If skill levels aren't enabled for your organisation, this section and the one below it won't show any data. Speak to your Thrive platform super admin for more information.
Where Are the Gaps, and Who's Closing Them Fastest?
What skills require the most development? shows, at a skill and user level, how far each is from its target – use it to spot team-wide skill gaps and development priorities at a glance. Alongside it, the fastest-growing skills and learners highlight where progress is already happening, so you can see strength and risk side by side.
Where Do I Look Up an Individual User or Skill?
The Skill detail and Skill level detail tables list every learner's skill acquisitions, including their current level and variance to target where applicable. Select Explore on either table to filter, add columns, or compare data for a deeper look.
