Subpages

Prev Next

Subpages are additional pages nested beneath a Space's homepage, allowing you to organise content into structured, distinct areas. Rather than a single landing point, subpages let you build something closer to a dedicated micro-site – for example, a company onboarding Space might include separate pages for Company Culture, Policies, and Meet the Team.

Pages can be nested up to five levels deep.

Adding a Subpage to a Space’s Homepage

  1. In the Thrive menu, go to Manage > Spaces.

  2. Find the Space you want to add a subpage to and click the ellipsis () on the right.
List of spaces with access settings and options for managing each entry.

  3. Click Add subpage.

  4. In the Add a new page modal, complete the required fields:
Form for adding a new page with fields for name, description, and thumbnail.

    • Name: Enter a name for the page.

    • Description: Describe what the page is about.

    • Thumbnail: Upload an image to use on content cards and in the header. Images should be .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif, or .svg in 16:9 format, less than 5MB, and with a maximum width of 2400px.

  5. Click Create page.

Subpages appear nested beneath their parent Space in the management tree view.

Building and Publishing a Subpage

  1. On the Spaces table, open the Space and click the ellipsis () for the subpage you want to publish.

  2. Click Edit draft.
Menu options including 'Edit draft', 'Duplicate page', and 'Add subpage' are displayed.
You will land on the Page builder tab for the subpage.

  3. Use the Page builder tab to add and arrange content.

  4. Click the dropdown arrow next to Save draft and select Publish.

The sub-page is now live and visible in the Space's page navigation for Space members to access.

Moving a Page

Pages can be moved from the Sub pages tab within a Space. To move a subpage:

  1. Open the Space and go to the Sub pages tab.

  2. Click next to the subpage you want to move and select Move.

  3. In the Move page modal, select the destination Space. You can use the search field to find a Space by name.

  4. Click Move page.

Important:

When you move a page, all of its child pages move with it.

Note:

Moving a page changes which Space it belongs to. It does not change a subpage's position among its siblings – reordering subpages within a Space is not currently supported.

Duplicating and Deleting a Subpage

Duplicating

You can duplicate any page within a Space to use it as a starting point for a new one. This is useful when pages share a similar layout or content structure. To duplicate a subpage, click and select Duplicate page.

Note:

Duplicating a page copies the page and its content blocks only. Child pages nested beneath it are not duplicateded.

Deleting

Pages can be deleted from the Sub pages tab or the management tree view. To delete a subpage, click and select Delete.

Important:

Deleting a page permanently removes it along with all of its child pages and their content. This action cannot be undone.
