This article provides a detailed breakdown of the data logic, filtering, and dataset structures for Super Admins. It outlines how the Insights Dashboards aggregate platform-wide data, giving you total visibility into user behaviour, compliance, and content performance.

What data is shown? (Filtering overview)

  1. All dashboards will show ALL data for all users and content for Super Admins

    1. To isolate your own direct/indirect reports in Team Dashboard as a super admin search for yourself in the audience names

    2. It is recommended to apply a filter to segment the data before you start exploring and navigating tabs as this will ensure faster loading of visuals where filters are linked across pages

    3. Filters will only show on tabs that they are relevant for

    4. Pre set filters

      1. Leadership Dashboard

        1. Super administrators are omitted from all pages except assigned learning

          1. Super admins if are assigned content it means they are expected to complete so should be included

        2. All pages are pre filtered to exclude suspended users

        3. Engagement is pre filtered to last 30 complete days, i.e. up to the end of yesterday

        4. Completions is pre filtered to last 30 complete days, i.e. up to the end of yesterday

      2. Team Dashboard (Formerly Team Progress)

        1. Super administrators are omitted from all pages except assigned learning

          1. Super admins if are assigned content it means they are expected to complete so should be included

        2. All pages are pre filtered to exclude suspended users

        3. Completions is pre filtered to last 30 complete days, i.e. up to the end of yesterday

      3. Content Dashboard

        1. Super administrators are omitted from activity and completion metrics

          1. These are covered in some visuals on Content Overview, all visuals on Content Engagement, Completions

          2. Super admins if are assigned content it means they are expected to complete so should be included

        2. All pages are pre filtered to exclude deleted and archived content

        3. All pages are pre filtered to published content

        4. Engagement is pre filtered to last 30 complete days, i.e. up to the end of yesterday

        5. Completions is pre filtered to last 30 complete days, i.e. up to the end of yesterday

        1. Admins are omitted, we only display what learners search for

      1. Date filters are available on pages where dates have an ever growing database by date and have pre set date ranges that can be altered and saved to views.

      1. New one pager designed to give a simple easier to digest landing page for leaders and admins surfacing the data they need. Minimal filters to give simplicity of old ‘Platform’ reporting

      1. Is a list of all users within your platform

      1. The counts of content items to complete are exclusively what is visible to the user

          1. Call outs of the number of event occurrences with team members registered upcoming in the next 2 weeks

          2. Call out of the number of team members registered to events upcoming in the next 2 weeks

          3. Bar graph calendar chart showing number of team members attending events across the next 2 weeks

          4. Split bar chart showing event and % of registrations/cancellations of events coming in the next 2 weeks

          1. a Null here indicates that the content does not progress based on a % complete or has yet to be started
