Super Admins

This article provides a detailed breakdown of the data logic, filtering, and dataset structures for Super Admins. It outlines how the Insights Dashboards aggregate platform-wide data, giving you total visibility into user behaviour, compliance, and content performance.

What Data Is Shown? (Filtering Overview)

1. All dashboards show all data for all users and content for Super Admins.

2. To isolate your own direct/indirect reports in the Team Dashboard as a super admin, search for yourself in the audience names.

3. It's recommended to apply a filter to segment the data before exploring and navigating tabs, as this ensures faster loading of visuals where filters are linked across pages.

4. Filters only show on tabs where they're relevant.

5. Preset filters
   1. Leadership Dashboard

   1. Super admins are omitted from all pages except Assigned Learning.

   2. If super admins are assigned content, they're expected to complete it, so they're included in that data.

   3. All pages are pre-filtered to exclude suspended users.

   4. Engagement is pre-filtered to the last 30 complete days (i.e. up to the end of yesterday).

   5. Completions is pre-filtered to the last 30 complete days (i.e. up to the end of yesterday).
      2. Team Dashboard (Formerly Team Progress)

   6. Super admins are omitted from all pages except Assigned Learning.

   7. If super admins are assigned content, they're expected to complete it, so they're included in that data.

   8. All pages are pre-filtered to exclude suspended users.

   9. Completions is pre-filtered to the last 30 complete days (i.e. up to the end of yesterday).
      3. Content Dashboard

   10. Super admins are omitted from activity and completion metrics.

   11. These are covered in some visuals on Content Health, and all visuals on Content Engagement and Completions.

   12. If super admins are assigned content, they're expected to complete it, so they're included in that data.

   13. All pages are pre-filtered to exclude deleted and archived content.

   14. All pages are pre-filtered to published content.

   15. Engagement is pre-filtered to the last 30 complete days (i.e. up to the end of yesterday).

   16. Completions is pre-filtered to the last 30 complete days (i.e. up to the end of yesterday).
       4. Search & AI Dashboard

   17. Admins are omitted — we only display what learners search for.
