The Profile screen is being redesigned with a modernised layout and improved navigation. Existing permissions, team hierarchy, and skills functionality will remain unchanged – only the look and feel is being updated.
Your Profile gives you a complete view of who you are on Thrive. See your skills and badges, check who's on your team, update your personal details, and find the learning content you've created – all in one place.
Accessing Your Profile
Click your name or profile photo in the bottom-left corner of the Thrive menu. From here, you'll see the following options:
View Profile: Opens your Profile page
Preferences: Opens your learning and notification preferences
Settings: Opens your account settings
Log out: Signs you out of Thrive
Click View Profile to open your Profile page. At the top, you'll see your avatar, name, email address, and your Following and Followers counts. From here you can also:
Click Edit details to update your personal information.
Click Go to learn page to jump straight back to your learning.
Navigating Your Profile
A sticky sidebar on the right-hand side lets you jump to any section on the page:
Click any item in the sidebar to scroll directly to that section.
About Me
The About me section displays your job title. This is visible to other users in your organisation when they visit your profile.
To add a description about yourself, click + Add a short bio. If you've already added one, click Edit bio to make changes. Descriptions have a 280-character limit.
My Badges
My badges showcases the badges you've earned on Thrive. Each badge represents a milestone or achievement – a visible record of your progress.
You can search your badges using the search field at the top of the section.
My Skills
My skills gives you a clear view of your skill development. Each skill card shows:
Your current skill level
Your target skill level
A progress bar showing how close you are to reaching your target goal
Use the search field at the top of the section to find a specific skill quickly.
Note:
Your skills help teammates understand what you’re great at. Keeping them up to date means you’ll also receive more relevant learning recommendations.
My Team
My team shows your place in the organisation and helps you find the right people to connect with. The section is split into three tabs:
Manager: Your direct manager
Peers: Colleagues at your level
Direct reports: Anyone who reports to you (visible to managers only)
Use the search field to find someone specific in each tab. You can also follow team members directly from this section.
My Learning Content
My learning content displays the courses, guides, and resources you've created and shared on Thrive. Click Create new content to start building something new.
Use the search field to filter your content quickly.
