Coming Soon

Prev Next

The Coming Soon section serves as your official preview of the new features and significant enhancements scheduled for release across the Thrive Learning Platform and Thrive Mobile App. Here, you will find preliminary details, key functionality outlines, and anticipated availability dates for our next wave of improvements.

Analyse

Feature

Description

CPD Reporting

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activity will be surfaced in the Insights dashboards and available via Data Share – giving L&D teams a complete view of workforce development, including completion rates by user and course, and a breakdown of CPD completed on Thrive versus externally.

Goals Dashboard

A dedicated Goals section is coming to Insights, giving admins and managers a clear view of goal completion rates, progress by user and team, and a breakdown of the learning activity that takes place between a goal being set and completed – so L&D leaders can measure outcomes, not just activity.

Basics

Feature

Description

Bulk Content Sharing

Admins will be able to select multiple content items from the Manage Content page and share them to one or more audiences in a single action – removing the need to open and share each item individually when managing large libraries or launching new programmes.

Content

Feature

Description

Content Type Categorisations

Authors will soon be able to assign a specific content type – such as Article, Assessment, or Module – to mixed content items, replacing the generic 'Mixed' label and making content easier to identify, search, and filter across the platform.

Elearning Support for Mixed Content

Authors will soon be able to upload and embed elearning packages – including SCORM – directly into the Content Creator as a dedicated block type, combining them with videos, PDFs, and other formats in a single lesson.

Multi-language File Alternatives

Authors will be able to upload language-specific versions of file-based content – including PDFs, videos, images, and e-learning files – within a single content item in the Content Creator. Learners are served the file that matches their selected language automatically, with a fallback to the primary language where no alternative has been uploaded.

Mixed Content – Scheduling in Campaign Releases

Authors will soon be able to schedule mixed content to be released as part of a campaign, so content goes live automatically when the campaign starts rather than requiring a separate publish step.

Skill Boosting for Mixed Content

Authors will soon be able to enable skill boosting on mixed content items, so that completed content counts towards learners' skills logs and personal development goals.

Flipcards Block

A new Flipcards block will soon be available in the Mixed Content editor, letting authors build decks of double-sided cards that learners click to reveal.

Hub

Feature

Description

AI Recommendation Feedback

Learners will be able to provide feedback on AI-driven content recommendations in Hub, indicating whether a suggestion was relevant or not. This feedback shapes future recommendations over time, helping the model become more accurate and reducing the need for admins to manually curate Hub content to keep it relevant.

Events Redesign

Admins will soon benefit from a fully rebuilt event creation experience, including a refreshed UI and Google and Microsoft integrations that generate session URLs automatically. A second phase introducing an improved user-facing events experience will follow.

Integrations

Feature

Description

Expanded Webhook Coverage

API v2 is introducing webhook support across Users, Assignments, Events, and Content – enabling external systems to react in real time to lifecycle changes on the platform, such as a user being created, an assignment becoming overdue, or content being published, without the need for polling.

Kiki

Feature

Description

Kiki New Tooling

The Thrive AI Assistant (Kiki) will soon be able to carry out everyday admin and learner tasks – like updating user roles, archiving content, or managing space memberships – through conversation. Kiki will always ask for your approval before making a change, and sensitive actions must first be switched on by an admin.

Mobile

Feature

Description

Shorts Carousel

Homepage list blocks made up entirely of video content will automatically display as a swipeable, full-screen "Shorts" carousel on both mobile and desktop. Learners will be able to swipe straight from one video to the next without leaving the player.
