Note:
We are deprecating the Direct HiBob Integration, with the transition to be completed by 31 March 2025. To provide a more robust HRIS experience, all impacted customers will be moved to Thrive Link, which offers significantly improved integration capabilities.
This upgrade is included as part of your current Thrive subscription, meaning there is no additional cost for the migration or the new functionality. You do not need to take any technical action at this time; your Account Director (AD) will be in touch shortly to schedule your move and ensure a seamless transition for your team.
Content and Learning
Individual authorship for Content Creator: Create content in the Content Creator as an individual. You no longer need to be part of a collaboration to publish Mixed content – admins and learner admins can now create and publish as themselves, and switch authorship between individual and collaboration at any time.
Streamlined publishing for Mixed content: Publication controls now appear in a side drawer, allowing you to view and complete all settings at once. Fill in only the required sections (Thumbnail and Visibility & share) to publish, with optional sections clearly marked.
User-generated mixed content: Admins can now enable user-generated content for the Content Creator. Turn on the new Add Mixed Content toggle in UGC Configuration to let all users create and publish their own Mixed content items, opening up modern content creation tools across your organisation.
Completed badge on content cards: Content you've completed now displays a "Completed" badge on the Homepage, Search results, and Advanced Search. This mirrors the existing behaviour in the Pinned tab, giving you immediate visibility of your progress across all content discovery areas.
User Management and Onboarding
User attributes and custom onboarding: Capture user data at first login with custom onboarding steps. Add custom fields to steps, mark them as mandatory, reorder them, and translate step names. Includes new Checkbox field type for binary choices like agreeing to terms.
User permissions at creation: Set user roles and tag manager access when you create a user. Choose between Learner, Learning Admin, or Super Admin, and set tag manager access with a simple yes or no – no need to edit permissions afterwards. You can also view and edit all permissions directly from the Manage Users table, with new columns showing each user's role and tag manager status.
Hub
Hub tab on homepage: Access your personal Hub directly from the Thrive homepage with a new dedicated tab. Switch between the business homepage and your personal Hub workspace without navigating away, making Hub visible and accessible from the moment you log in.
Sticky Notes widget in Hub: Create personal notes directly in your Hub with the new Sticky Notes system widget. Quickly capture thoughts, reminders, and context without leaving your workspace. Notes are private to you and can be edited or deleted at any time.
Events
Events creation improvements: Create and manage events with a rebuilt admin interface and automated session setup through Google and Microsoft integrations. Virtual session URLs are generated automatically, reducing manual configuration steps.

Analytics and Insights
Analyse AI: Ask natural-language questions about your Thrive Analyse data and receive structured insights, risk indicators, and recommended actions. Available across Assigned Learning, Skills, Activity & Engagement, Completions, and Events datasets. For more information, see Analyse with AI.
AI Assistant reporting: View anonymised AI Assistant usage data in a new reporting page for super admins. See metrics including distinct users, questions asked, sessions, usage trends over time, and user intent breakdown (translation, summaries, platform help, etc.). Data available for the previous two years plus current year to date. No chat transcripts or user-level data is exposed. For more information, see AI Assistant Tab.
AI Assistant/Kiki
Connector Search for Google Drive and SharePoint: Search across Google Drive and SharePoint content directly through the AI Assistant. Super admins can connect and sync specific folders or files, making them searchable for all users through a single, unified search experience. For more information, see Connector Search.
Platform Improvements
Table improvements across Thrive: All tables now use a unified design with standardised pagination (15/25/50/100/250/500 items per page), in-table search, sort-by-column functionality, and consistent record counts. Includes right-to-left layout improvements for Arabic and Hebrew, enhanced accessibility, and lays the foundation for future bulk actions across content, users, and tags.
Quoted search for exact matches: Use quotation marks in search to find exact phrase matches. Search for "Q4 Plan" to return only results containing that exact phrase, preventing irrelevant matches while preserving helpful fuzzy search for regular queries.
Mobile App
Offline Mode for Mixed content: Download Mixed content to your mobile device and access it without an internet connection. View and complete downloaded content offline, with completions automatically syncing when you reconnect.
