Kiki Content Review

Prev Next

Kiki content review checks your content against your organisation's own content standards before you publish it. Admins set the standards once – such as tone of voice, learning goals, and words to avoid – and authors can ask Kiki to review their content in Content Creator at any time.

Kiki's feedback is guidance only. You can always publish your content, even if there are suggestions you haven't acted on.

Setting Up Content Standards

Admins define the standards Kiki reviews content against.

  1. In the Thrive menu, go to Configure > AI configuration.

  2. Under Content Creator, find Content Creator Kiki review.

  3. Toggle it on, then use the audience dropdown to choose who can use it. You can make it available to everyone, only admins, or a specific audience.

  4. Fill in your organisation's standards:

    • Learning goals: The outcomes your content should achieve. Enter one per line, for example "Understand GDPR basics".

    • Tone of voice: Free-text guidance on how your content should sound. You can give guidance section by section.

    • Words to avoid: Terms Kiki flags if it finds them in your content.

    • Target audience: Who reads your content and in what circumstances. This keeps Kiki's suggestions specific to your organisation rather than generic.

    • Brand colours: Your brand colours, entered as HTML hex values, for example #1A2B3C.

    • Imagery: A written description of your imagery style, for example "diverse, real workplace photography, no stock clip art".

  5. Save your changes.

Note:

Kiki doesn't look at the images themselves when checking imagery. It only reads the text attached to them, such as alt text and placeholder text. Add descriptive alt text to your images so Kiki can check them against your imagery guidance.Your content goes here

Running a Review

  1. Open your content in Content Creator and save your changes.

  2. In the top-right corner of the editor, next to Translations, click Kiki review.

  3. Kiki reviews all the saved content and shows a list of findings.

Kiki only reviews content that's been saved. Save your changes before you start a review.

Understanding Your Results

Each finding:

  • Links to the exact part of the content it relates to. Click a finding to go to that part of your content, and click the highlighted content to go back to the finding.

  • Explains which of your organisation's standards it relates to.

  • Shows the evidence behind the suggestion.

For each learning goal, Kiki tells you whether your content covers it, partly covers it, or doesn't really address it, with a short explanation.

Dismissing a Suggestion

If you disagree with a suggestion, you can dismiss it. Dismissed suggestions stay dismissed unless the content they relate to or your organisation's standards change.

Running a Review Again

A review stays valid until you change and save your content. After that, Kiki marks the review as out of date. To check your latest changes, run the review again.
