Collections group your tags into named sets that control how content is organised on the Explore page. You can create as many collections as you need, then assign one as your primary collection and one as your secondary collection to build the browsable structure your learners see.
Understanding how primary and secondary collections work is the key to getting Explore set up correctly.
How Collections Work
Collections use a two-level hierarchy:
Primary collection: The tags in this collection become the main folders on your Explore page (for example, "HR Policies" or "Product Training").
Secondary collection: The tags in this collection become the subfolders within those main folders (for example, "Onboarding" or "Compliance").
For a piece of content to appear on the Explore page, it must be tagged with both a primary tag and a secondary tag. Tagging content with only one will mean it does not appear in either folder.
For example, if your primary tag is "HR Policies" and your secondary tag is "Onboarding", any content tagged with both will appear inside HR Policies > Onboarding on the Explore page.

In the Collection Name field, enter a name for your collection (for example, "Primary" or "Secondary").
In the Tags field, select the tags you want to include in this collection.
Click Create Collection.
The collection will appear in the Manage collections table. Repeat these steps to create your second collection for subfolders.
Editing and Deleting Collections
To edit or delete a collection, click the ellipsis (...) on the relevant row and select Edit or Delete.
