Once a Space is created, you can edit its content, manage its settings, and – for Spaces with a Mentorship Programme – oversee mentoring, coaching, and sponsorship relationships. This article covers making changes to a published Space, managing existing Spaces from the Spaces table, and creating and managing relationships between participants.
To edit a Space, in the Thrive menu, go to Manage > Spaces and open the Space or page you want to edit.
If the page has no existing draft, the current version opens in preview mode. Click Create new draft to begin editing.
If a draft already exists, the page opens in edit mode automatically.
Page Builder
Make your changes using the Page Builder tab.
Click Save Draft at any time to save your progress.
Note:
Each time you save, a new draft version is created replacing the previous one.
To check how your changes will look to users, click Preview. Click Exit preview mode to return to editing.
When your changes are ready to go live, click the dropdown arrow next to Save Draft and select Publish.
Once published, the updated version becomes live. To make further changes, a new draft must be created.
Note:
To delete a draft without publishing it, click the dropdown arrow next to Save Draft and select Delete.
Mentoring/Coaching/Sponsorship
For Spaces with a Mentorship Programme block, a dedicated tab appears labelled Mentoring, Coaching, or Sponsorship depending on the programme type selected in the Mentorship Programme block. Changing the programme type updates this tab's label and content automatically.
This tab gives you full oversight of relationships in the Space, including:
Summary cards: The total number of participants, a breakdown by role (for example, Sponsors and Sponsees), and the total number of relationships.
Participant table: Each participant's name, their programme role, their number of active relationships, and an Actions menu.
Creating a Relationship Manually
To manually pair two participants, instead of waiting for the matching algorithm:
On the Mentoring, Coaching, or Sponsorship tab, click Create relationship.
In the modal, search for and select the mentor, coach, or sponsor by name or email.
Search for and select the mentee, coachee, or sponsee by name or email.
Click Create relationship.
Once created, a confirmation message lets you know the users are matched and can start scheduling sessions.
Note:
Alternatively, click Actions (⋮) next to an existing participant, then select Add Relationship to open the same modal with that participant pre-filled.
Moderation
When content is flagged in a Space, Super Admins and Space Admins receive a notification so they can review it in the report log. Spaces notifications are enabled by default.
Admins can set organisation-wide defaults, and individual moderators can adjust their own preferences at any time. These settings apply to all of your Spaces – they cannot be changed per Space. To change which notifications you receive, see Notification Settings.
