Can you view unassigned content on the Leadership Dashboard?

As an Admin, all content can be viewed using the Content Dasboard and clicking the Content Engagement tab. This will allow you to filter for all content against it's engagement within a date range.

Content completions can be accessed using Team Dashboard and clicking Completions.

Why doesn't the "What are the trending topics in my content?" graph respond to the main tag filters on the Content Engagement screen?

This is expected behaviour. The graph shows authentic trending patterns across all your content, so it doesn't respond to the main dashboard filters.

You can apply filters directly in the graph itself using the Content Tag dropdown under the graph. The graph automatically excludes untagged content to prevent blank or "null" entries appearing as top trends, and displays only the top 6 trending topics.

How do I find a specific assignment on the Assignments tab of the Leadership Dashboard using filters if it doesn’t appear in the Content Title filter list?

If a specific assignment does not appear in the Content Title filter on the Assignments tab, it may be due to active filters limiting the results.

  1. By default, the dashboard automatically applies an Activity filter set to the last 30 days. This filter is active even though it is not clearly indicated. As a result, assignments with no recent activity may not appear in the Content Title filter list.

To resolve this, select “Show unfiltered” to remove the default restriction, or adjust the date range to include the time period you need.

You can also update the date range and save it as a new View, making it your personal default for future visits.

  2. Super Admins do not appear as a selectable option in the Role filter. They are excluded by default from engagement and completion metrics because their activity can significantly skew reporting data. (Assigned learning always includes them.)

If needed, Super Admins can be included again by:

Selecting “Administrators” in the Thrive Role filter, or removing the role restriction entirely.

Why aren't my completions showing on the dashboard?

If you're a Super Admin and your completions aren't appearing on the dashboard, it's likely because Super Admins are excluded from engagement and completion metrics by default. This is intentional — admin activity can skew reporting data for end users.

To include Super Admin completions in your results:

  1. Open the relevant dashboard in Insights.

  2. Locate the Thrive Role filter.

  3. Select the Exclude tab.

  4. Deselect administrator and click Apply.

Your completions will now appear in the results.
