Mentoring connects people across your organisation through structured, skills-based programmes. You can volunteer as a mentor to share your expertise and help others grow, or sign up as a mentee to develop the skills you need to reach your goals. Once matched, you can schedule sessions and track your progress – all without leaving Thrive.
Administrators set up Mentoring by adding a Mentorship Programme block to a Space. Once published, users can join the programme and get matched with a mentor or mentee.
Note:
Mentoring is not currently available in the Thrive Mobile App. Support for mobile is coming soon.
Example Use Cases
Onboarding and integration: Pair new hires with experienced mentors to accelerate time-to-productivity and provide guidance on company culture and undocumented processes.
Targeted skill mastery: Launch programmes to close critical skill gaps by matching mentees seeking advanced skill development with relevant subject matter experts (SMEs). This matching is based on the skills rules set by an administrator.
Leadership development: Establish programs where senior leaders mentor emerging or new managers in strategic thinking and advanced leadership skills.
Compliance and certification: Create short-term accountability programmes where recently certified colleagues mentor users pursuing the same mandatory certification or complex training.
Setting Up a Mentorship Programme
Mentoring is configured and managed in Manage > Spaces. Administrators make Mentoring available to users by adding a Mentorship Programme block to a new or existing Space.
Note:
For full setup instructions, see Mentorship Programme.

Roadmap
Coaching and Sponsorship: Additional programme types – Coaching and Sponsorship – are coming soon.
Content packs and goal setting: Administrators will gain the ability to link programs to specific content packs. This provides a structured way to guide the mentorship journey by specifying content for mentors and mentees to follow, and enabling guided learning.
Chat messaging: The Chat feature will allow users to communicate in real time within the Thrive platform. Users can engage in relationship-based conversations with their mentors or mentees, as well as participate in broader community discussions.
