Custom link widgets

Super Admins can now create custom link widgets – a title, URL, and image – and make them available to users through the widget marketplace. Go to Configure > Hub > Link Widgets > Add Link Widget to create one. Widgets are tenant-scoped and disabled by default. Users add them to their Hub via the standard Add Widget flow.

Tasks widget

A new Hub widget that surfaces a live summary of a user's tasks, showing task name, status, priority, due dates, and tags at a glance. Supports Jira at launch. Admins connect the tool in integration settings, then users authenticate their own account. One task provider can be connected per instance. Task connectors are a paid add-on – to enable one, or to request a connector not currently included in your Hub, speak to your Account Director.

Thrive MCP Server

The Thrive MCP Server is now generally available, moving out of beta. It connects your AI tools – including Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini Enterprise – to your Thrive platform, so admins can manage content, users, and skills, and learners can find courses and surface content, all through natural conversation. An administrator completes a one-time setup per tool; users then sign in with their own Thrive account.

Kiki

Feature

Description

Who it’s For

Action Required?

Endorsed content only

A new Endorsed content only toggle lets admins restrict Kiki to content carrying the Endorsed flag when generating responses. With it on, Kiki excludes any unendorsed Thrive content, even if relevant; trusted web and connector sources are unaffected. Find it in Configure > AI features > AI Assistant > Assistant settings > Endorsed content only. Off by default.

Combined sign-up control

Admins can now control whether users see the option to register as both Mentor and Mentee when joining a mentoring Space. Go to the Space settings and toggle Allow users to register as both Mentor and Mentee on or off. When off, users only see Mentor and Mentee as role options. The change takes effect immediately for new registrations. Existing dual-role members are unaffected.

Coaching and Sponsorship programme types

Two new programme types are now available when configuring a Mentorship Programme block: Coaching and Sponsorship. Select the type from the Programme type dropdown in the block settings. Each type uses the same setup and matching flow as Mentoring, with role labels updated to reflect the programme – coaches and coachees for Coaching, sponsors and sponsees for Sponsorship.

Chat

Chat is a new in-app direct messaging feature that lets users communicate with any Thrive user in their organisation without leaving the platform. Conversations persist across sessions, so users can pick up where they left off. Messages are tied to user profiles and are only visible to the participants involved. Messages can be deleted but not edited.
