This page details the Content Creator beta feature, which offers a powerful, new way to develop learning materials on the platform.

Content Creator is a comprehensive tool that allows you to generate and edit multi-modal content, including AI-generated text and images. It provides the ability to embed quizzes with completion requirements directly within the content to assess learner retention. Furthermore, this tool supports collaborative content creation, streamlining the entire process of developing engaging and effective learning materials.

This article will explain how to enable the Content Creator beta feature for your users.

Enabling Core Content Creator Features

  1. In the Thrive menu, go to Configure > Beta features.

  2. In the FEATURE list, toggle New content authoring experience to ENABLED.

Core AI Content Creator features, such as content editing and quiz embedding tools, are enabled. Follow the steps below to enable AI-powered content creation features, such as text and image generation using AI providers.

Enabling AI-Powered Content Creator Features

  1. Go to Configure > AI features.
    The AI configuration screen appears.

  2. Under Providers, select one or more AI providers to support your desired features. Thrive  currently supports the following providers:

    • OpenAI: Used for capabilities such as AI Assistant responses, text generation, and image creation.

    • Google: Used for features like video generation from text prompts.

  3. In Features, enable the AI features you want to activate on your Thrive platform. You can only enabled features that are supported by your selected provider(s).

    Note:

  4. (Optional) For relevant features, select Admin only if you want the feature to be restricted to admins.

  5. Click Save.

The AI Content Creator will include the selected AI features based on your chosen providers and permissions.

All configuration changes are logged by Thrive and can be requested for review if needed.
