Spaces Dashboard

Prev Next

The Spaces Dashboard gives admins a dedicated view of how Spaces are being created and used across their organisation. Admins can see the scale and status of their Spaces at a glance – with data on membership, content volume, and visibility – helping them demonstrate adoption and make informed decisions about where to focus.

Note:

Views and likes data in Spaces are not included in this v1 release and will follow in a future update.

Use Cases

The Spaces Dashboard is useful for:

  • Understanding adoption: See how many Spaces exist and how membership is distributed across the organisation.

  • Tracking content volume: Monitor the number of pages and subpages created within Spaces to understand how teams are building and sharing knowledge.

  • Monitoring visibility: Get a breakdown of published versus draft Spaces, and public versus private, to understand how openly knowledge is being shared.

  • Proving ROI: Give L&D and People teams the data they need to demonstrate the value of Spaces to internal stakeholders.

Overview

To open the Spaces Dashboard, in the Thrive menu, go to Insights > Spaces Dashboard.

The dashboard is accessible to Super Admins and Learning Admins, and is organised into two sections.

Summary

The Summary section provides high-level metrics covering the breadth of Spaces across the organisation. Admins will be able to see the total number of Spaces, pages, and subpages in their organisation – each including both published and draft content – alongside the number of Space members and Space admins. The section also surfaces the number of new Spaces created in the last 30 days, and average figures for pages per Space and subpages per page, giving a quick sense of how actively Spaces are being built out.

Status and Visibility

The Status and Visibility section breaks down Spaces by publication status and access type. Admins will be able to see how many Spaces are published versus draft, and how many are public versus private, making it easy to understand the overall shape of their Spaces estate and how openly knowledge is being shared across the organisation.

Filters

Admins can filter dashboard data using the following options:

  • Space Name: Filter metrics by one or more specific Spaces.

  • Space Status: Filter by the current status of Spaces.

Relationships

The Relationships tab gives admins a dedicated view of their mentoring programme, showing how mentors and mentees are matched, whether they are meeting, and what outcomes those relationships are driving.

To open it, in the Thrive menu, go to Insights > Spaces Dashboard, then click the Relationships tab. You can filter the data by Space using the Space selector.

The tab is organised into the following sections:

  • Joined: The total number of participants in the programme, split by mentors and mentees.

  • Matched: The number and percentage of participants matched, the average days to match, and a breakdown of matches by status and programme type.

  • Sessions: The percentage of matched pairs with at least one session, average sessions per relationship, and total session duration over time.

  • Goal impact: The percentage of participants who created goals after their first mentoring session, and how many have been completed.

  • Gained skills impact: The percentage of participants who gained or improved skills after their first mentoring session, and which skills those were.

    Note:

Goal and skills figures reflect activity after a participant's first session – they are a proxy for engagement, not outcomes attributed directly to the mentoring relationship.

Reporting reflects activity on the platform, so programmes with low adoption will show limited data initially.
