This article explains how to archive and delete content in Thrive, ensuring you manage your resources efficiently. Archiving content is an effective way to retain historical data and access content reports while keeping the material hidden from users. After content has been archived, it can be permanently deleted.

Archiving Content
You can archive a single piece of content or several items at once, directly from the content table
In the Thrive menu, go to Manage > Content.
On the Published tab, use the checkboxes to select the content you want to archive. You can select one item or several.
In the selection bar that appears, click Archive.

In the confirmation modal, click Archive.

The content is now archived and will no longer be visible or accessible to users – only the author and administrators can still access i. Note:
When a content module is archived, it is automatically removed from any Pathway or assignment it was previously included in. This prevents users from viewing broken content in their assigned journeys.
Finding Archived Content
In the Thrive menu, go to Manage > Content.
Click the Archived tab.
Use the search and filters to narrow the list by criteria such as author, content type, or collaboration.
Deleting Content
You can only permanently delete content after it has been archived. Deletion is done one item at a time, from the content itself.
In the Thrive menu, go to Manage > Content and click the Archived tab.
Click the content you want to delete to open it.

Scroll down and click EDIT.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, click the down arrow next to Update, and select Delete Item.

Click Delete Item.
In the Delete content? modal, click Permanently delete.
Important:
This is permanent and can’t be undone.
The content is now permanently deleted from your Thrive platform.
